What’s your story?

As with many genealogists, I became interested in the field after pursuing a family mystery of my own. I left with an understanding of what it is to have an unknown branch of your family tree, and how rewarding it can be to fill in the missing pieces.

I’m passionate about helping people find a deeper connection to their ancestors. My previous careers in social work and education give me a person-centered approach to genealogical research that puts you and your family at the center of our work together. I understand that everyone has a different relationship with their family history, and I prioritize taking the time to learn about how you would most like to receive the research I have completed – whether that be in a:

  • Formal research report

  • Digital family tree

  • Family narrative

  • Shareable presentation

  • Something else we come up with together

In addition to self-study and workshops, completing the Boston University’s Genealogical Research course helped to refine my research skills so I can be efficient and organized for the clients I serve. I am excited to take on clients who are pursuing their own ancestral or home history in hopes to bring them closer to a more complete picture of their families and themselves.
